Born and raised in Chilliwack, Rob inherited some good musical genes.
With his father being a band & choir teacher and sisters with piano
degrees, there was always music heard at home... albeit Rob was
somewhat of a "late bloomer". He joined Re/Max Nyda Chilliwack at
age 23 but it wasn't until his late 30's that he developed an interest in music.
During a 2 year transfer to Re/Max 100 Mile House in 2001, Rob began singing and playing guitar, started the band "Whiskey River" and quickly gained a northern fan base playing for pubs, legions, rodeos, RCMP and fire dept dances. In 2003 Rob returned to Chilliwack, sought vocal training and introduced the band locally. Over 100 gigs later and counting, Rob's appearances include 3 memorable years at the BC Music Jamboree as well as Saturday night's feature band on Walk of Stars stage at Merritt Mountain Music Festival 2011.
Rob is approaching his 30th year with Re/Max, has sold over 1200 homes, is a member of the Re/Max Hall of Fame and has earned the Re/Max Lifetime Achievement Award. In 2008 Rob obtained his managing broker's licence and is the owner of RE/MAX Nyda Realty in Chilliwack BC. In 2012 Rob achieved 'Gold Level' status for total number of annual MLS awards earned...and would love to earn your business too!

A note from Ken:
"I have been priviledged to be the conductor of the Kamloops
Big Band for many years now, as well as being the current president
of our local off-road motorcycling club, and enjoy golf, fishing,
motorcycling and camping with my family. I have a great knowledge
of the Kamloops back-country as well, so if a recreational property is
on your agenda, you are in the right place for that too!
Drop me a line, I'd love to hear your thoughts! "

Daryl Miller got an early start to drumming in 1966
when a neighbor kid quit their band "Angry" which
he was the singer in, and left his drum set behind.
Daryl took over and the rest is history! Over the
years, he played in rock bands in Vernon, the
Sunshine Coast, Vancouver Island, and the Lower
Mainland, including the “Kentish Steele Band,”
"The New Breed", "Public Eye", "Brandy Wine", and
"Best of Friends", which was one of the house
bands for Oil Can Harry’s as well as many other
clubs in Vancouver.
Daryl worked for ten years as the sales manager for Drums Only and played with many pick up bands. He continued to play in bands including “Brandy Wine” and the “R & B Allstars.” After a few years, and a career change to Real Estate, Daryl joined fellow Realtors as the drummer for “Access R & B Band.” He then joined the "Ocean Park Wailers", and another band "D'Mojo". Daryl is now proud to be part of the "Remax Rockin' Allstars", and looks forward to playing at many gigs and conferences!

a Harry Potter-esque, British public school education

With the arrival of children, the amps went away and he moved to Ragtime, Boogie and Blugrass, acoustically, and playing most styles from the last century.
He still has his first acoustic guitar form 50 years ago – “ She screams in my hands”
Years of therapy have still not helped him to understand what the black notes are for
Lately he has played Vegas, Greenwich Village and the Boogie Woogie Festival in Lugano, Switzerland

James Love
Guitar
Victoria BC
With roots in the Kootenays, James Love came to
Victoria in 1972. James' musical travels have taken
him to 5 continents and across the vast majority of
North America. “Early listening experiences were my
father’s volumes of Bach pipe organ along with
colourful doses of Glenn Miller and Benny Goodman.
I loved it!”
James survived the 80’s, though his hair did not.
In the 90’s he transitioned from mainly cover songs
to original music which offered a depth of ‘heart’
that covers couldn’t.
His current original project - Rotten Little Kings - could
be thought of as “heavy roadhouse boogie” music,
though a perfect descriptor still eludes them after 10 years together. Strangely, partway into this band’s history came an interruption. Six and a half years were spent touring the world and making music with the band Men Without Hats who rose to fame in the early 80’s. Sharing the stage with the likes of Devo, the B-52’s, Human League, Howard Jones, Flock of Seagulls and so many more was always thrilling. “I’ve performed for crowds of more than 20,000 and crowds of 20 and it’s always been fun!” An experienced theatrical and arena stagehand, James is a member of IATSE 168, and is proud to have helped his wife - a long established Realtor - as Mr. Mom for the kids and eventually getting his own real estate license to work alongside her at ReMax Alliance in beautiful Victoria.
“I’m really excited about playing with the ReMax Rockin’ All-Stars! A real horn section? You bet! Tons of fun, plus I love the chance to play with great musicians and fire up the dance floor for a terrific cause! Cheers!” James Love.
